Although there are differences between concept mapping, mind-mapping and graphic organizers, they are all visual ways to represent and organize information. Can this appeal to the visual learner? What benefits may students with other learning styles acquire from using a visual mapping system? What did you learn about concept mapping and its applications? Can you foresee a use for concept mapping, mind maps or graphic organizers in the classroom? Look at some of the open source/freeware/online tools for concept mapping. Respond to at least 2 posts.
